
Born in 1984 in Reunion Island, Félix Duclassan lives and works in Reunion Island. Graduated in Plastic Arts and Art Sciences from the University of Aix-Marseille. Professor of plastic arts, visual artist. He collaborates on these projects with different cultural structures: Les Rencontres Alternatives, Studio Marmelade, Cheminement(s), Artranslation and La Vitrine of which he is the president. In 2020, he created the Tropical Drawing festival which takes place in December in Reunion Island. He has notably exhibited during the European Heritage Days in St Denis, at the FRAC, at the Ter'la gallery and abroad in Madagascar. Murmures, one of his works, is part of the collections of the Villèle historical museum. His series on the nénènes was awarded the La Villa Rivière prize and obtained the label of the Fondation Mémoire pour l'esclavage. In the series Madame Antoinette, she is a woman from the 80s working for a family of owners living in Saline les Bains.
