The exhibition, entitled “Dans la terre, les creux parle aussi” (In the Earth, Hollows Also Speak), is a dive into Abel’s childhood. The artist explores the treasures he discovered while digging the earth in his Creole garden on Petite Île. These relics, with no apparent value and no common history, nevertheless tell parallel stories that have shaped him to this day.
