Johnbob's artistic work was born about ten years ago, one evening on December 31st on the Hermitage beach where he had fun decorating a beach bar built between friends. Since then, his little characters have not stopped evolving while keeping the same guideline: colorful drawings, made of flat tints, characters with an asymmetrical look and always with a touch of poetry or humor and sometimes both!
His chibi-style characters refer to a manga from the 80s that marked him but his inspirations are more diverse: manga, pop, geek culture, street art and of course Reunion Island to which he owes the blossoming of his art.
