Artist and certified professor in Visual Arts, combines in his practice an exploration of visual and sound forms. His work, marked by meticulousness and imagination, unfolds in a constant search for real or dreamed landscapes.
The series of drawings that he offers is inspired by a trip to Asia and explores the idea of an infinite landscape. These works, similar to a puzzle, compose a limitless island where each drawing becomes an area to explore with the eye. These autonomous miniature scenes, rich in details, invite us to imagine stories that fit together and respond to each other.
The artist plays with scales, the grain of the paper, the breath of an ocean sound, while celebrating slowness and meticulousness. His work questions travel, experience and the genius of places, heritage and architecture. His creations reflect a palpable pleasure in detail, a taste for play and a fascination with organic forms, habitable worlds and discreet human presences.
